As a result of the dangerously low wind chill temperatures forecast for tomorrow (-40 to -50 below), there will be no school on Thursday, December 22nd. All activities are canceled and there will be no childcare. Our facilities will also be closed on December 23rd. There will be no childcare or activities on the 23rd. HSD wishes all of our families and staff a Merry Christmas!

The Harrisburg School District will have a two-hour late start tomorrow, Friday, December 9. Buses will run two hours late. No breakfast will be served, no before school childcare.

Over the next few weeks, Harrisburg School District schools are accepting gift card donations for the Giving Tree to help Harrisburg families in need. Gift cards in $25 increments are preferred, but not necessary. All schools are accepting donations. Please include gift cards in an envelope labeled: "Attn. School Counselor- Giving Tree". Donations can be dropped off at any of our schools. The deadline to donate is Wednesday, December 7th. If you have questions, please contact any of our school counselors. On behalf of the counseling staff of the Harrisburg School District, thank you in advance for your generosity toward making the holiday season more enjoyable for our District families.
