Calling all veterans and family members of veterans! We are collecting photos of veterans who are in some way connected to our learners at Explorer Elementary for a special video to be shown at our Veterans Day Program. If you would like to participate, please send a photo, along with the NAME of the veteran and connection to your child. You can send to your child's teacher, or to Mrs. Keupp at ashley.keupp@k12.sd.us. Please send to school no later than Wednesday, November 6. If you sent a photo for last years video, we'd like to use it again, unless you reach out and ask not to.

Explorer Elementary wants to honor all our veterans and current active duty military members on November 11th. You are cordially invited to attend lunch with your learner. Since we have different lunch times, please ask your invitee when you are to come in that day for your free meal. Also please to makes sure to RSVP for lunch to the office by November 8th. You are also invited to attend our Veteran’s Day Program at Explorer, which begins at 1:30 pm. You will be able to sit with your student that invited you and be recognized along with all veterans and active service members. If you have any questions, contact the school.
