Co-teaching benefits all Learners

Miss Sale (ELD), Mrs. Kirton (4th), Mrs. Olson (ELD Coordinator), and Mrs. Weeldreyer (1st) come together to work on a new Co-Teaching project in order to assist learners in small groups.  The push-in model of instruction is proving to be beneficial for academic English learnerswithin some Horizon classrooms. Multilingual students get the benefit of staying with their peers and working on grade-level standards while they also learn through shared experiences. All students in the classroom benefit by working with additional staff members in the school and developing relationships with those teachers.
