On Monday, September 30, the Harrisburg School District kicks off Homecoming Week!
Tigers of every age and stage are invited to participate in the Homecoming events, and Horizon Elementary will have Dress-Up days for Staff and students throughout the week. See below for the daily themes, and encourage each child to participate!
- Monday: Proud to be an American
- Red, White, and Blue
- Tuesday: Colors of the Rainbow
- 5th Grade Red
- 4th Grade Orange
- 3rd Grade Yellow
- 2nd Grade Green
- 1st Grade Blue
- JK/KG Purple
- Wednesday: Wacky Wednesday
- mismatch, silly socks, crazy hair, etc
- Thursday: Animal Style
- dress like a favorite animal OR bring a favorite stuffed animal
- Tiger Pride
- Maroon and Gold
Finally, please remember that Horizon will dismiss at 12pm on Friday, October 4, to allow all families to participate in the Homecoming Parade. Make plans to ensure each child is picked up from school in a timely manner.
